Job Information | Continuing to build on the strong foundation in Children’s Ministry at First Baptist Simpsonville, we are currently accepting applications for a high-capacity Minister of Children. Applicants should be Christian with 3-5 years experience and/or leadership skills as a leader in a children’s educational environment, either church, private or public school. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree; Seminary Degree preferred. Responsibilities for this high-capacity position include: direction and leadership for all children’s endeavors as well as building and leading an effective team of teachers and volunteers; ensuring a celebratory and secure environment for children to learn about and grow in Christ; curriculum selection. This individual should be someone who is energetic, organized and possesses the ability to connect to both children and parents. The candidate must be a self-starter and strong team builder with work ethic that supports the church’s mission and demonstrates ability to provide strategic planning for current and future ministry initiatives.
