Job: Associate Pastor To Families

The Associate Pastor to Families will provide leadership and direction to the Pioneer Community Student and Children’s ministries. He will lead the effort in building and maintaining a team of adult and youth leaders whose purpose will be to make disciples. He will work to build young disciples for Christ by developing and implementing a comprehensive approach to youth and children’s ministry (in the areas of prayer, worship, discipleship, ministry, and mission) while serving as the spiritual leader and role model to students and children. The Student Pastor reports to the Senior Pastor.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have a relationship with Jesus Christ
2. Must meet the qualifications of a pastor described in Titus 1 and Timothy.
3. Passion for evangelizing Students and growing them as Disciples of Christ.
4. Must be in full agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message (most recent)
5. Ability to preach/teach
6. Preference is for the person to be married
7. A Bible college degree is desired.
8. Must have vision and a demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, manage and implement a student ministry.
9. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, conflict management skills, and computer skills.
10. Must posses a proven ability to work effectively with youth, diverse individuals, and teams of volunteers.
